This LIVE Rockstar Scribe Workshop will be held at Houston's hub for community and innovation, The Ion.
This beautifully revived building brings Houston’s entrepreneurial, corporate, and academic communities into collaborative spaces and programs where ideas go to grow.
Give yourself and your team the basic skills, knowledge, and confidence to create large drawings for group meetings, brainstorming sessions, community gathering, and conferences.
Workshop starts at 10AM, but arrive early to participate in “Cup of Joey” from 8:30-10AM to network with Houston's tech entrepreneurs, artists, startup founders, and community activators.
WORKSHOP INCLUDES:
A complete overview and practice with the basic skills of graphic facilitation
Focused, experiential skill-building delivered via 6-hour LIVE workshop
Basic drawing materials
It is our mission to get these skills into the hands of good people who work with other good people to get good stuff done.
We want to work with people who work on the ground, close to the action, and who are trying to untangle complex social and environmental issues to decide what to do next. We have taught these skills to kids, healthcare professionals, engineers, executives, and educators.

YOUR INSTRUCTOR: This workshop will be taught by master graphic facilitator and educator, Peter Durand, who has 20 years of experience in illustration, innovation, facilitation, and graphic recording for organizations such as Nike, Vanderbilt University, TEDx Nashville, Google, and Facebook.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND? People who want to help other people understand complex ideas and make better decisions. Past participants include educators, healthcare workers, business consultants, financial analysts, social entrepreneurs, managers, facilitators, entrepreneurs, software developers, and kids!
